GME Initiatives
GME engages students in studying surface temperature as part of the Urban Heat Island Effect (UHIE). By using GLOBE protocols, participants collect surface temperature data to observe patterns and contribute to real-world research. This hands-on project helps students understand how urban development impacts local climate. To get involved, students and educators can join the GME program, access training materials, and begin collecting data in their communities.
