The first GLOBE Learning Session will highlight the NASA Scientific Visualization Studio. In this webinar, Mark SubbaRao, lead of Scientific Visualization Studio (SVS), will provide an overview of SVS and highlight the important role of data visualization in every stage of the scientific process: from data exploration, analysis, discovery, and publication for the science community to the dissemination of results to public audiences. We will also be joined by Trena Ferrell, outreach lead of the Earth Science Division, NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Join the session to learn about data visualization as a powerful communication tool.
Celebrating the Community and Legacy of GLOBE Observer

Since 2016, the NASA Earth Science Education Collaborative has implemented GLOBE Observer. This presentation will highlight NESEC’s approach to building an expanded GLOBE community to include individuals and communities outside of schools through partnerships. These partnerships are now poised to enhance the capacities and capabilities of the GLOBE Program. In addition to expanding the types of individuals and organizations that participate in GLOBE, the partnerships have resulted in a rich resource library available to support the GLOBE community into the future. Join us to learn more and celebrate the work and impact of the GLOBE Observer team and app over the years!
