How To Access Your Satellite Comparisons
You can access your satellite comparisons in three ways:
Within your Satellite Comparison Email
If you opt in to receive NASA satellite images (tap settings
gear in the lower right of the app, then select the
"Opt-in/Opt-Out Settings" button to view and change your
settings), you will receive an email within a few days with
corresponding satellite data.
Within the email you will find the links (circled in red below) corresponding to the satellites that matched at the time and place of your report.
Within your GLOBE Account
1). Log in to the GLOBE
website.
2). Click on your profile picture:
3). Click on “My Page”:
4). Click the “My Observations” link that is located under
your photo and beside your description:
5). This will open in a new browser (please make sure pop
ups are not blocked). Choose a Start Date, End Date, and type of
Observation.
NOTE:
- The Start Date default is one year ago today.
- The End Date default is today’s date.
- The options for Observation types will be based on observations you have submitted.
6). Once you have selected the date range
and observation type that contains your observations, scroll down
until you see Satellite Match. Click the name of the Satellite that
you matched to (i.e. GOES-16, GOES-19, NOAA20,
Landsat/Sentinel):
7). This will open and display the satellite comparison
table associated with your observation:
Within the GLOBE Observer App
1). Log in to GLOBE Observer App
2). Click on “My Observations”:
3). This will open in a browser. Choose a Start Date, End
Date, and type of Observation.
NOTE:

4). Once you have selected the date range
and observation type that contains your observations, scroll down
until you see Satellite Match. Click the name of the Satellite that
