The Iowa Academy of Science is partnering with the University of Northern Iowa Earth and Environmental Science Department and UNI STEM in a celebration of the Solar Eclipse on the first day of fall classes! Activities will be include safe outdoor viewing of  the partial solar eclipse through a telescopes and eclipse glasses, indoor LiveStream of NASA eclipse coverage, indoor posters and free app to explore augmented reality earth and space topics, indoor/outdoor promotion of free GLOBE Observer app to help participants become a part of citizen science (and eclipse observations), and special NASA surprizes (indoor). The event will be free to all UNI Students, Faculty, Staff and the public.
