• Objective: To study the impact of soil pH, moisture, and temperature on Polytrichum commune moss. • Location: Three sites at Wang Hin Lat Waterfall, Trang Province: Waterfall Level 1, stream area, and canal area. • Process: Conducted from September 2025 to January 2026 using GLOBE Protocols. The team collected soil samples at a 10 cm depth and measured parameters using a pH meter, moisture meter, and soil thermometer. • Result: Data showed the stream below the dam had the highest moisture (2.3%) and temperature (28.3°C), while pH levels remained stable (7.47–7.63) across all sites.
The study of soil quality affecting the moss species Polytrichum commune at Wang Hin Lat Waterfall, Yan Ta Khao District, Trang Province, aims to investigate soil quality in natural habitats and analyze the impacts on organisms within the area. The research focuses on measuring key soil parameters, including pH levels, soil moisture, and temperatur.
