This environmental science study on the comparison of the relationship between soil quality and distance from water sources in landslide areas at Nansato Waterfall, Palian District, Trang Province aims to investigate the soil quality in the landslide area at Nansato Waterfall, Palian District, Trang Province, and the distance of the soil from water sources, in order to compare the relationship between soil quality in landslide areas with different distances from water sources. The study was conducted through fieldwork to analyze soil structure, soil cohesion, soil pH, and soil moisture at locations with different distances from water sources and to compare the obtained data. The results showed that areas close to water sources had higher soil moisture and slightly alkaline to neutral pH values, while areas farther from water sources had lower moisture levels. These factors are related to soil stability and the occurrence of landslides in the Nansato Waterfall area.
