In nature, we observe changes in the climate that differ from those expected for a certain time of the year. Scientists indicate to long, warm periods during autumn. Interested in this issue, we monitored at atmospheric stations in Petrinja and Zagreb air temperature and cloud cover to confirm this phenomenon. We decided to monitor air temperatures during September and October 2023. By analyzing the measured temperatures, we learned that summer temperatures occur during September and October in the area of Petrinja and Zagreb more often and that the temperature values are higher than those measured over a thirty-year period average.
