Omani Schools Continue to Participate in a National Forum featuring GLOBE's Atmosphere Protocol
The Al-Hawari, Samad, Al-Thabti, Abdul-Rahman, Salma Bint Qais,
Stal School for Basic Education and Al Numan Bin Bashir schools
participated in the GLOBE National Forum from 25-27 February 2024. The
forum began with a speech delivered by Ahmed Al-Balushi, GLOBE Amman
Citizen Coordinator.
As part of the forum’s activities, student research (in which
all governorates of the Sultanate participated) was evaluated to
compete for the top five places in the Sultanate-wide competition.
Teachers were also trained on GLOBE Protocols and how to record
data on the GLOBE website. Professor Yousra Wad and Ishaq Al-Jabri
presented a working paper on the Atmosphere Protocol.
