Oman's Al Dhahirah Governorate Schools Participate in a National Forum Using GLOBE Protocols and Student Research Projects

The Asmaa Bint Amis, Souda Umm al-Mu’minin, Ibri, and Amjad
Amman schools participated in a national forum for The GLOBE Program
from 25-27 February 2024. The forum began with a speech by Ahmed Al
Balushi, the GLOBE Oman national coordinator.
As part of the forum’s activities, student research, in which
all Omani governorates participated, was evaluated to compete for the
first five places in the competition at the Sultanate level.
At the same time, teachers were trained on GLOBE Protocols and how to record data on the GLOBE website. Fakhriya Al-Balushi and Hidaya Al-Farsi presented a working paper on the Soil Protocol.
