Good aftertoon, I am a bit confused about how it works the bar that rolls up in the homepage showing the schools that entered data today. I have checked in three different days and moments of the day and I realized that my schools in Uruguay that are taking data all these days as a part of a competition on precipitation measurements, never appear in your registers. I can only see American Schools and that worries me, because I also checked that for example School no. 88 Alfredo Nobel, registered data today and it is not displayed in the aknowledgment to schools that entered data every day.
I would like you to review this, because they are really making an effort to take the data every day for three months, register and load them to the web and they would like to be aknowledged as the rest of the schools which I think it is very fair.

Andrea - It's great they are out collecting data! I took a look and can see the data is being entered.  You can go to the visualization system and see precipitation, clouds and other data is entered for that school -

The issue with the home page - we check and list the 20 most recent measurements. There are a number of automated weather stations that submit data every 15 minutes, so they tend to be the ones that show up since they submit data so frequently (that's why you see Weatherbug (now EarthNetworks) in the list so often).

We've talked about how this approach, while accurately showing "Most Recent Measurements" doesn't allow manual measurements to show up very often.  Perhaps this is something we should bring up with the science and technology working groups - should we put less of an emphasis on the "most recent/automated" in favor of recognizing schools who are out in the field collecting data manually?
