Taiwan Joins GLOBE
We are very pleased to announce that Taiwan has joined the GLOBE Community as our newest Partner in the Asia and Pacific Region. Implementation of The GLOBE Program in Taiwan will be administered by the National Central University and led by Project Coordinator, Dr. Pay-Liam Lin, of the Department of Atmospheric Sciences and Graduate Institute of Atmospheric Physics. He will be assisted by Ms. Wei-Jiun (Grace) Chen. The GLOBE implementation is supported by the Taiwan National Science Council.
Many of you had an opportunity to meet Ms. Chen and several of her colleagues at the Annual Partner Meeting in Maryland in August. Our warmest welcome to them as part of the GLOBE Community. We look forward to their active contribution to GLOBE in the future.
