New Zealand has been a member of GLOBE for 19 years (since 2000) when an agreement was signed between the Government of the United States of America and the government of New Zealand for Cooperation in the GLOBE Program.

 Current status of GLOBE in New Zealand

We are looking to reinvigorate the following activities:

1. GLOBE Teacher Training
2. GLOBE Training of Trainer 
3. Cooperation with schools and universities in promoting environmental science research with a foundation of STEM Education 
4. Promotion of GLOBE campaigns etc.
5. Student Exchange Program with Asia-Pacific countries
