New School Status Reporting Tool on the GLOBE Website
The new school status reporting tool has been launched on the GLOBE.gov. website. This tool will allow Country Coordinators and U.S. Partners to be able to view the data reporting status of schools in their country. The functionality is similar to the reporting tool on the old website, but includes more powerful filtering options

U.S. Student Teams Selected to Attend the GLOBE Learning Expedition in India
Five teams of GLOBE students in the United States have been selected to attend the GLOBE Learning Expedition (GLE) in India with support from the GLOBE Program Office. The GLOBE Learning Expedition will take place from 3 - 8 August in New Delhi, India.

Deadline Saturday 17 May 2014: Join the NASA GPM Master Teachers Cohort for the 2014 - 2015 School Year
NASA's Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) mission is looking for a small cadre of "GPM Master Teachers" to help develop and pilot STEM lessons to be used with elementary, middle, and high school audiences. The deadline to apply is Saturday, 17 May 2014.

SMAP Block Pattern Data Entry Form Available 16 May
As part of GLOBE's partnership with NASA's Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) Mission, SMAP science team members worked with GLOBE to develop an additional sampling pattern for taking frequent surface soil moisture data and have included in the protocol the periodic measurement of sample volume. The data entry page for these data will be available on Friday, 16 May.
