The aim of the research was to compare the similarities and differences between the two measuring stations of our schools in the same county and determine the time of sowing of the three most commonly cultivated cultures of our region. GLOBE protocols for remote exploration and soil and atmospheric analysis have been applied. The pupils of both schools learned how to calculate the accumulated heat from the collected meteorological data and determine the optimal sowing time. This year was characterized by sudden drops of temperature and we decided to continue our research to confirm our conclusion that the optimal time for sowing our cultures in the period from 10 March 2018 to April 10, 2018. depending on the culture.
