Asia and Pacific Regional Coordination Office Promotes GLOBE Land Cover and Phenology Campaigns in Virtual Address

On 18 April 2025, Dr. Sonal Gupta, project manager at Indian Environmental Society (IES) and member of the Asia and Pacific regional coordination office, delivered a virtual keynote address on the theme “Keeping Greenland Clean” at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research Studies in Faridabad, India. In her talk, titled “Protect Greenland and Keeping Greenland Clean,” Dr. Gupta outlined practical strategies for safeguarding Greenland’s fragile ecosystems. In doing so, she highlighted the GLOBE Program’s Phenology Campaign and Land Cover protocol as models for community-driven environmental monitoring.
