GLOBE LAC participará en la AGU Fall Meeting 2025
La Oficina Regional de GLOBE para América Latina y el Caribe (RCO) y el equipo de la campaña “Árboles dentro de LAC” presentarán una ponencia en la AGU Fall Meeting 2025, que se realizará del 15 al 19 de diciembre en Nueva Orleans, Estados Unidos.
La presentación, titulada “Trees in LAC: Environmental Monitoring and Education through Citizen Science in Latin America and the Caribbean,” fue aceptada para formar parte de la sesión “From Air to Orbit: Integrating Field, Aerial, and Satellite Observations for Ecosystem Monitoring II”, programada para el miércoles 17 de diciembre, de 2:15 p.m. a 5:45 p.m. (CST), en el Poster Hall del Centro de Convenciones de Nueva Orleans.
La participación será en modalidad virtual, destacando los esfuerzos continuos de la Oficina Regional y de los líderes de la campaña por compartir experiencias regionales, promover la colaboración y fortalecer la presencia de GLOBE en eventos científicos internacionales.

The GLOBE Latin America and Caribbean Regional Coordination Office (RCO) and the “Trees within LAC” campaign team will present at the AGU Fall Meeting 2025, to be held December 15–19 in New Orleans, USA.
The presentation, titled “Trees in LAC: Environmental Monitoring and Education through Citizen Science in Latin America and the Caribbean,” has been accepted as part of the session “From Air to Orbit: Integrating Field, Aerial, and Satellite Observations for Ecosystem Monitoring II,” scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, from 2:15 PM to 5:45 PM (CST), in the Poster Hall of the New Orleans Convention Center.
The participation will be held online, highlighting the continued efforts of the Regional Office and campaign leaders to share regional experiences, promote collaboration, and strengthen GLOBE’s presence in global scientific events.
