IVSS and Zika Project
Student participants in the GLOBE Zika Education and Prevention Project were also encouraged to participate in the Annual IVSS. The winners from each year that we judged the mosquito projects separately are listed below. In 2019, the winners received travel stipends to attend the GLOBE Annual Meeting. Unfortunately, in 2020, due to COVID-19, the Annual Meeting was held virtually. Instead of traveling to the Annual Meeting, winners in 2020 had the opportunity to present their research during the Annual Meeting to hundreds of participants watching online from all around the world.
