Bundle Workshop on Mangroves
From 20 August to 10 September 2025, the Mangroves Workshop will take place — a training initiative organized as part of the “Trees within LAC” campaign. The event is open to all participants interested in deepening their understanding of these vital ecosystems in the region.
The workshop will include four live sessions, scheduled for August 20 and 27, and September 3 and 10, at 6:00 p.m. (Argentina time), along with complementary asynchronous activities.
Participants will work with various GLOBE protocols from different Earth spheres:
Included Protocols:
- Atmosphere – Aerosols, Air Temperature, Barometric Pressure, Clouds, Relative Humidity, Wind
- Biosphere – Biometry (including Tree Height)
- Hydrosphere – Dissolved Oxygen, pH, Salinity, Water Temperature, Water Transparency

This workshop is part of the GLOBE Mangroves Educational Bundle, and aims to strengthen scientific and environmental observation skills among students and educators across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Taller de Bundle sobre Manglares
Del 20 de agosto al 10 de septiembre de 2025, se realizará el Taller sobre Manglares, una iniciativa formativa organizada en el marco de la campaña “Árboles dentro de LAC”, abierta a todos los participantes interesados en profundizar en el estudio de estos ecosistemas clave para la región.
El taller contará con cuatro encuentros sincrónicos, que se llevarán a cabo los días 20 y 27 de agosto, y 3 y 10 de septiembre, a las 18:00 h (hora de Argentina), además de actividades asincrónicas complementarias.
Durante el taller se trabajará con diversos protocolos del Programa GLOBE, correspondientes a distintas esferas del sistema Tierra:
Protocolos incluidos:
- Atmósfera – Aerosoles, Temperatura del aire, Presión barométrica, Nubes, Humedad relativa, Viento
- Biósfera – Biometría (incluyendo altura de árboles)
- Hidrosfera – Oxígeno disuelto, pH, Salinidad, Temperatura del agua, Transparencia del agua
