After registering for the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Program in Eastern Nepal, Principal Subarna Bhattarai and two students from Amity Public School in Kakarvitta, Jhapa, Nepal, were invited to attend the afternoon award ceremony for the Gold Award.  >>

On 5–7 May, over 34 participants, including 12 country coordinators, assistant country coordinators, scientists, and Working Group members from 12 Asia and Pacific countries, joined the virtual 2025 Asia and Pacific Regional Meeting. Under the theme “Global Impact: Advancing Earth System Science and STEM Education,” participants engaged in 3 days of interactive sessions designed to share progress, build capacity, and co create a roadmap for the next year.  >>

On 16 May, a large and rare dust storm swept across Indiana and Illinois. Visibility in the hardest hit areas were near zero during the storm. A volunteer observer in Indiana captured the change in Cloud conditions!  >>

On 25–26 April 2025, GLOBE Jordan hosted attendees from Jordan, Kuwait, and Oman, for a technology training about GLOBE website literacy.   >>

In honor of GLOBE's 30th anniversary, Tendruk Central School in Samtse, Bhutan—a recognized GLOBE school—has produced an engaging video featuring students and teachers that demonstrates the successful implementation of the GLOBE program and highlights active student participation.  >>
