U.S. GLOBE Sophomores/Juniors: 2022 SEES Summer Internship Opportunity – Applications Due 15 March (Stipend Available for GLOBE Student)
The United States GLOBE Program is accepting applications for a GLOBE intern at the STEM Enhancement in Earth Science (SEES) 2022 Summer High School Intern Program. Interns will learn how to interpret NASA satellite data and work with scientists and engineers. This opportunity is open to current U.S. GLOBE Sophomores and Juniors.

Educators: One-Week GLOBE “Pacing Guides” Now Available – Join Webinar 23 March
Are you interested in working with The GLOBE Program, but not sure where to start? Assistance is here! NASA has worked with experienced GLOBE teachers to put together new one-week “Pacing Guides.” Each guide provides a five-day sequence of activities that address a guiding question. They are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and incorporate information on how to engage in science observations with GLOBE. Each Pacing Guide also includes an activity from My NASA Data using real satellite data.

NASA GLOBE Cloud Challenge Exceeds Expectations: Badge and Certificates Now Available
Observations tallied in at over 42 thousand with 108,214 photos being added to the GLOBE database. Not only did observations come in from 89 countries from all around the world, but all seven continents are represented in the data. Cloud Challenge participants really delivered on the satellite match goal and provided nearly 50 thousand satellite matches.
