GLOBE’s Accessibility Technology Solution Sub-Committee Seeks Input from Visually Impaired Community Members
GLOBE’s Accessibility Technology Solution Sub-Committee is seeking input from the GLOBE community. The special committee is charged by GLOBE’s Working Group chairs to explore ways in which technology and other tools can potentially facilitate greater levels of accessibility for everyone in relation to GLOBE tools and resources. The goal of this effort is to reduce and, where possible, remove impediments to maximum levels of participation in GLOBE.

Registration for the 2023 U.S. Student Research Symposia is Open
Registration is open for the 2023 U.S. Regional Student Research Symposia (SRS). At a SRS, students can share the results of their hard work in GLOBE research investigations. For students in the 5th to 12th grades, the symposia offer the chance to discuss research projects with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) professionals, share ideas and learn from peers, and explore STEM careers. Symposia are held every spring in each of GLOBE's six U.S. regions.

The United States GLOBE Coordination Office is accepting applications for a GLOBE intern at the STEM Enhancement in Earth Science (SEES) 2023 Summer High School Intern Program. This opportunity is ONLY open to current Sophomores and Juniors who are GLOBE students. Application deadline is 15 March.

The GLOBE Program has recently updated the website with regard to current air quality campaigns. Air quality measurements help scientists and researchers determine how clean or polluted the air is. The quality of air in your neighborhood, town or regional area can have significant impact on human health and environmental processes surrounding nearby communities.
