NASA PLACES Seeks Input from Middle and High School Educators on Place-Based Education
Help promote student engagement in data-rich Earth science learning by sharing your experiences with PLACES (Place-based Learning to Advance Connections, Education, and Stewardship) – a NASA-funded project to support effective professional learning on place-based approaches to data-rich instruction.

In Case You Missed It: Congratulations to IVSS Projects Selected During 2022 Earth Day Drawing
The 2022 International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS) was a huge success! The GLOBE Implementation Office (GIO) received 220 student project submissions from 97 schools in 25 countries in all six GLOBE regions. Projects were submitted in five languages: Arabic, Croatian, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. In all,160 judges from 36 countries, including GLOBE International STEM Network (GISN) members, helped score the projects and provide feedback.

2022 GLOBE Annual Meeting (Virtual) Call for Presentations – Deadline Extended to 01 May
Presentation applications are now being accepted for the 2022 GLOBE Annual Meeting, which will take place, virtually, from 25-28 July. The theme of the meeting this year is "Communicating GLOBE in Changing Times.” The deadline has been extended to 01 May (no late or incomplete applications will be accepted). All presenters are required to be registered for the meeting. Registration for the 2022 Annual Meeting will be available starting in late April.
