Latin American and Caribbean Regional Meeting a Grand Success
On 22–24 October 2024, 31 participants from nine GLOBE countries (Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Paraguay, Dominican Republic, Suriname, and Uruguay) attended the 2024 LAC Regional Meeting in Santo Domino, Dominican Republic.

Connecting GLOBE with a Wider Meteorological Community Through NOAA MADIS
The GLOBE Program Office at NASA HQ and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Office of Education are pleased to announce that the GLOBE community’s weather observations have just become more impactful now that GLOBE data are being shared with the wider meteorological community through the Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System, or MADIS.

If You Build It (to Be Fun and Engaging), They Will Come (to NARM)
The 2024 North American Regional Meeting (NARM) was held virtually over three days, 15–17 October, for three hours each day. Amy Chen, the GLOBE program officer at NASA, and GLOBE Implementation Office leadership opened the meeting with welcomes, highlights, and updates on GLOBE activities. Over the three days, 90 people attended, making it the most well-attended virtual NARM in the GLOBE Program’s history. Forty-eight people attended all three days. Learn more.

2024–25 Student Vlogger Program Introduces First Group of Vloggers
The GLOBE Student Vlogger program provides students with the opportunity to learn about how to create vlog-style videos to show off their world and their GLOBE experiences. This year's cohort has been hard at work on introduction videos, which will be released on GLOBE’s YouTube channel over the next few weeks. The first introduction video was just released!
