Our team researched how the air temperature in the middle of our school prairie compares to the middle of the school lawn affects where animals live. The data that we found tells us the warmer the air in an area the more animals live/visit. Some solutions to benefit our environment are having more schools plant prairies, and putting prairies in fields that aren’t being used.. Prairies are ideal environments for both plants and animals. The plants keep the soil warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, which plants and animals need to thrive. Our native prairie is our little way to help slow down global warming and make a positive impact on our environment.

This is a great project. I like that you did a bioblitz. Your result was not what I expected. Maybe it would depend on the type of animal.
