Congratulations to U.S. GLOBE Partners and Educators Recognized at 2025 Annual Meeting

At the 2025 GLOBE Annual Meeting, GLOBE members from around the world were recognized for their contributions to the community and the program over its 30 years. Included in that recognition were Partners and educators from the United States.

Kevin Czajkowski: Impact on Community Knowledge

In recognition of significant impact on knowledge across the GLOBE community, including expanding knowledge of GLOBE protocols, data analysis, and Earth system science.

Diana Johns: Impact on Youth

In recognition of significant impacts on youth, especially advancing Earth system science by engaging youth with GLOBE in ways that deepen their commitment to and interest in Earth systems.

Jessica Taylor: Technological Advancement

For expanding the use and knowledge of technology that supports the GLOBE community, including promoting creative or innovative uses of technology.

Peggy Foletta: Environmental Stewardship

For their contributions to GLOBE activities that led to impacts on local communities and/or policies and programs that protect those communities.

Lynne Hehr: Expanding Collaboration and Partnerships

For their significant role in brokering new partnerships and productive collaborations between GLOBE members, and across countries, regions, and the GLOBE community. These collaborations have resulted in impacts within communities, increasing opportunities to expanding scientific knowledge and pursuit of scientific endeavors.

Elena Bautista Sparrow: Lifetime Achievement

For their long-term engagement in the GLOBE community that has included significant contributions and demonstrated leadership that has impacted youth, educators, partnerships, and other groups across GLOBE.
