Greek Teachers Tour The Netherlands

After visiting Germany, the Greek teachers crossed the border to the Netherlands, where they were introduced to the Dutch GLOBE Program by Country Coordinator Martin Bosch. The two groups sang a song composed in Holland, "GLOBE Homepage, Here We Come!" The Greek participants were inspired to begin composing their own GLOBE tune! >>

GLOBE Star of Croatia

In April 1998, GLOBE students in Croatia gathered in Zagreb to share their research with one another and to report on their GLOBE activities to their nation's President. Three students and a teacher from each of Croatia's 37 active GLOBE schools participated in the special event. >>

President of Iceland Visits GLOBE Headquarters

The GLOBE Program in Washington was honored to have the President of Iceland, Olafur Ragnar Grimsson and his wife visit on July 22, 1997. The President was briefed on the status of GLOBE and enjoyed a demonstration of the GLOBE Student Data Server by GLOBE Director Tom Pyke. >>
