Waterbodies initiative 2022
It is important to have activities that can help maintain momentum and enthusiasm while facilitating the increase of data and IVSS project submission. It is furthermore important to include those that are marginalized and that would not normally be able to participate due to lack of scientific equipment.
There are 3 different ways to participate in this IOP initiative :
1. By Stories about your local waterbody. (Indigenous knowledge systems)
2. By taking picture and location of your local waterbody.
3. or by doing basic hydrology protocol ( you decide what perimeter you want to measure and input the data on the GLOBE data entry facility)
