We hear it all the time: You love getting the email from NASA matching your Clouds observations with satellite data. We are excited to announce that, starting in September, you will now be able to get an email from NASA that aligns your land cover observations with satellite data just as you can now for GLOBE Clouds.

The GLOBE Observer team will be available to answer your questions about the new land cover satellite comparisons on the 18th of September at 12:00 pm ET (16:00 UTC).  This GLOBE Observer Connect conversation will cover how we match your data to satellite data, where to find satellite comparison information for any new GLOBE land cover observation, and how to interpret the comparison. We hope that these new collocated land cover observations provide feedback that will help every GLOBE volunteer see how their observations of the land support and complement the larger space-based view!
