Help GLOBE Reach 2 Million Satellite Matches by April 2027
The GLOBE Program has been helping citizen scientists match their data to geostationary satellite imagery since 2017. To date, GLOBE has made more than 1.6 million satellite matches! We challenge the GLOBE community to help us reach 2 million satellite matches by the end of April 2027.
Get started right away by downloading the GLOBE Observer app (if you don't already have it) and start observing clouds and land cover near you! When you submit your observations, you’ll receive an email from NASA with satellite data that aligns with the data you submitted, allowing you to compare your ground-level view with what satellites observe above.
