I Congreso Latinoamericano de Ciencia Ciudadana

Del 9 al 11 de junio de 2021 entre las 17:00 y 20:00 (ART) se llevará a cabo en formato virtual el “I Congreso Latinoamericano de Ciencia Ciudadana” aplicado a la educación. El evento está orientado a docentes de todos los niveles, estudiantes de grado, posgrado y profesorado, investigadores en educación y quienes se encuentren interesados en la enseñanza de las ciencias.

El evento es organizado por la Oficina Regional GLOBE para América Latina y el Caribe junto con la maestría de Enseñanza de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales de la Universidad Nacional de La Rioja (UNLAR, Argentina), la Universidad Nacional del Comahue (UNCOMA, Argentina), la Universidad de las Américas (UDLA, Chile) e integrantes de la Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM, Perú).

Durante las 3 jornadas se profundizará sobre la ciencia ciudadana en la educación formal, en contextos de educación no formal y redes y comunidades de práctica de ciencia ciudadana. Los objetivos del evento son:

• compartir estrategias y recursos de ciencia ciudadana que se puedan utilizar en educación científica, en aprendizaje basado en proyectos, educación STEM, etc.;
• facilitar la colaboración entre proyectos científicos y profesionales para investigar, documentar y compartir resultados e impactos del uso de la ciencia ciudadana en educación;
• brindar acceso a herramientas y recursos innovadores con potencial para mejorar la calidad de la educación.

Nueva fecha límite para envío de resúmenes: 26 de mayo

Para la presentación de comunicaciones y posters se admite presentar dos tipos de trabajos:

1. Relato de experiencias
2. Comunicación de investigación

Aquí encontrará las normas para el envío de resúmenes (al menos uno de los autores debe estar inscripto en el congreso).

Fecha límite para el envío de resumen de comunicaciones y posters: hasta 14 de mayo de 2021

From June 9 to 11, 2021 between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. (ART) the "I Latin American Congress of Citizen Science" applied to education will be held in virtual format. The event is organized by the GLOBE Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean together with the Master's Degree in Teaching of Exact and Natural Sciences of the National University of La Rioja (UNLAR, Argentina), the National University of Comahue (UNCOMA, Argentina), the University of the Americas (UDLA, Chile) and members of the La Molina National Agrarian University (UNALM, Peru).

The topics for the event include citizen science in formal education, in non-formal education contexts and citizen science networks and communities of practice.

The objectives of the event are:

• Share citizen science strategies and resources that can be used in science education, project-based learning, STEM education, etc.
• Facilitate collaboration between scientific projects and professionals to investigate, document and share results and impacts of the use of citizen science in education.
• Provide access to innovative tools and resources with the potential to improve the quality of education.

New deadline for abstract submission: May 26 

For the presentation of communications and posters, two types of work are allowed:

1. Experience report
2. Investigation communication

Here you will find the rules for submitting abstracts (at least one of the authors must be registered in the congress).

Deadline for sending the abstract of communications and posters: May 14, 2021.
