Come join us the day before Earth Day 2026 (April 22) and celebrate with some great student research presentations from GLOBE Brazil. The featured presentations are:
- “Green Thermometer: Measuring the Cooling Power of Trees” - Instituto Estadual de Educação Profissional, Tecnologia e Inovação do Rio Grande do Norte - IERN- Brazil
- "Assessment for the care and preservation of historic and native trees. GLOBE VSS 2026" - Brazil GLOBE v-School - Brazil
During the webinar, the campaign team will also discuss the "2026 One-Week Earth Day Week Intensive Observation Period (IOP) for Tree Height and Land Cover Observations" that focuses on taking many GLOBE tree height and land cover observations during a 7-Day period, the week in which Earth Day 2026 falls. We will also highlight how to wrap up and archive data and research projects for future access.
