Webinar | 30 Years of GLOBE: MacroBlitz: Wading In
Join Anne Lewis as she discusses MacroBlitz; a project to inspire and empower people to find and photograph aquatic macroinvertebrates and upload those photos to iNaturalist for science and learning. MacroBlitz is GLOBE-adjacent and will support those with an interest in the freshwater macroinvertebrate protocol. This session will provide an overview of MacroBlitz, an orientation to resources, and an introduction to key MacroBlitz skills.

Air Temperature Challenge for GLOBE’s 30th Birthday Bash
We’re celebrating GLOBE turning 30 with a data challenge birthday bash! Shishmaref High School students in Kigiqtaq, Alaska, invite GLOBE students and educators to participate in an air temperature challenge! From 22 April through 6 May, learn about collecting temperature measurements with Adrian and Hailey from the University of Alaska Fairbanks as they introduce the protocol, add water to ice in a beaker, add thermometers, and check the temperature.
