GLOBE Asia and Pacific "Soil in Schools" Campaign
The new "Soil in Schools" campaign kicks off on 1 September and runs through 16 October for GLOBE Asia and Pacific. This initiative aims to engage students in the Asia-Pacific region in a series of hands-on activities designed to deepen their understanding of soil science and its crucial role in maintaining healthy ecosystems.

The State of Trees – September 2024. The End of Year 6: Looking at Change Over Time with Tree Height and Land Cover
On 10 September at 12:00 n ET (16:00 UTC, 6:00 pm CET), GLOBE staff will say farewell to Year 6 of the campaign with a look back at the tree height and land cover data that can be used to look at change over time, including over the past 6 years.

The Student Experience at the 2024 GLOBE Annual Meeting

The State of Trees – August 2024. Continuing to Make Sense of the Land Cover and Tree Height Observations
On 20 August at 1:00 pm ET (17:00 UTC; 19:00 CET), GLOBE staff will discuss the importance of taking GLOBE ground-based land cover and tree height observations and making comparisons to the space-based NASA satellite data. They will showcase, and reinforce, the importance and ease of data analysis using online data tools.
