Teachers: Are You Ready to Get Trained in GLOBE Protocols – Connecting to a World-wide Community Made Easy!
Tip of the Week: Teachers! You can connect your students to an international network of students, teachers, and scientists to learn more about our shared environment. For a school to fully participate in The GLOBE Program, at least one teacher must be trained in GLOBE science measurement protocols and education activities by attending a GLOBE Teacher Workshop.

GLOBE Observer (GO) on the Lewis and Clark Trail Citizen Science Challenge Top Observers Announced
Between 01 June and 02 September 2019, the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail and NASA GLOBE Observer (GO) challenged visitors to collect land cover observations along the trail. The “Top Observers” (those who collected the most land cover observations) have been announced!

National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) Awards and Recognitions – Entries Must Be Submitted by 18 December!
The annual NSTA Awards and Recognition Program, which recognizes exceptional and innovative science educators, began in 1973. The NSTA Awards and Recognition Program was created to raise awareness and to expose the outstanding work being done in the science education field. All entries must be received by 12 Noon EST on 18 December 2019 (via online submission). There are no entry fees.
