GLOBE Student Vloggers Receive New Assignment: Trees in a Changing Climate Interview
The new cohort of vloggers met this past month to receive their next assignment: Trees in a Changing Climate Interview Videos! Similar to the interview project from this last winter for the NASA GLOBE Clouds Challenge, the GSVs are being tasked to interview friends, parents, elders, and community members about trees and climate. They will be asked to consider change over time for trees in their local environment.

2022 North American Regional Meeting (NARM) Will Take Place on 02-04 (Virtual) and 07-08 (In Person) November
The GLOBE North American Regional Meeting (NARM) is held every year to bring together members of the U.S. GLOBE community to learn and share ideas. Due to the continuing constraints of COVID-19, as well as ensuring the event is accessible to all GLOBE partners regardless of funding, the NARM will be presented in a different format this year. The meeting will be divided into two sections, one virtual and one in-person, over several days in November. A final culminating virtual event will be held to bring everyone together to share reflections on the NARM.

U.S. GLOBE Coordination Office Accepting Proposals for Developing “Earth Around Us” Tent – Deadline Extended to 30 September
The U.S. GLOBE Coordination Office, with support from the USDA Forest Service, Eastern Region (Agreement Number 21-CS-11090100-035), is accepting proposals for development of an “Earth Around Us” Tent, with accompanying mural panels and materials for science activity kits for their local teacher network and programming. The deadline for proposal submission has been extended to 30 September.
