The State of Trees - August 2026. Revisiting the Trees Around the GLOBE Tools, Resources, and Tricks for Maximizing Student Research in Land Cover, Tree, and Vegetation Science

Join us as we revisit and highlight the many tools, tips, tricks, and resources that our campaign has highlighted over the last eight years of supporting student research as part of the Trees Around the GLOBE Student Research Campaign. We will discuss such tools as Google Earth Engine, Open Altimetry, Collect Earth, NASA World View, and additional NASA resources focusing on several satellite missions including ICESat-2, GEDI, Landsat, NISAR, and others. We will also highlight some vital NASA Science websites that emphasize the importance of studying our planet from the ground, air, and space. Please join us to learn more and to come talk about what resources you and your students have used to complement student research.
