I have alot of text and hyperlinks today so I won't say much more than it is full-speed ahead on planning for NARM, supporting 4 in-person NARM professional learning workshops, AND starting to dig into the logistics of in-person Regional Student Research Symposia for spring 2023! Fall is fun!

• Technology Working Group Monthly Summary (submitted by Sara Mierzwiak, North American Representative): (1) The WG was shown wireframes for all of the upcoming updates on the GLOBE website. These constitute Phase 1 of the updates, and include the first two options in the top navigation menu (About/Join and Training/Resources). Many new updates are underway for the GLOBE website, including the account creation process, management of accounts, instructions on doing GLOBE, Roadmaps, and Megamenus showing the overall navigational layout of the site. WG members will be sent the wireframes links and mockups so they can show their colleagues and provide general feedback. (2) For those with newer model Davis Weather Stations, Dave Overoye is still actively working with Davis to connect that data directly to GLOBE. Dr. Kevin Czajkowski with GLOBE Mission EARTH has a workaround for this that he will demo at the next meeting on Tuesday November 1st.​​​​​​​
• Education Working Group Monthly Summary (submitted by Lynne Hehr, North American Representative): (1) Grace from the GIO is currently working with a team from COMET to review and update the GLOBE eTraining modules by sphere, including their assessments. Pedosphere is being finalized. (2) There was a discussion around Davis Weather Stations and lifelong learners which you can hear more about from Dorian Janney, also a North American representative. (3) Members will review a Google form which will assist in tagging GLOBE resources for better search filtering.
• Must be a VERY busy fall because everyone wants to come to a Watercooler but no one wants to present! Will you share one of your promising practices or GLOBE projects with us? 
• Do you need hard copies of Elementary GLOBE storybooks? The Elementary GLOBE module pages have a print-on-demand order link! Follow this example: From the Elementary GLOBE page, click on the  Water Module page, the 3rd link down under Storybooks leads you to the UCAR SciEd site about Elementary GLOBE, scroll down and then click on the link for the book you want copies of and it takes you to the print-on-demand order. FYI Discoveries at Willow Creek is $6.09/book right now.
