Greetings, On April 22, 2020, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, and the 25th anniversary of GLOBE and me as a GLOBE Teacher, I introduced the GLOBE Satellites and Education Team (G-SET). For me, and from the beginning of GLOBE in 1995, one of the best opportunities for GLOBE was to introduce and integrate the use of satellite imagery and remotes sensing to the K12 community. In a small way it did through in its early years providing a LandSat image/dataset of each schools area. GLOBE Mission EARTH has posted videos in the NSF funded STEM for All video showcase. The NASA funded project I lead that fuses GLOBE projects with NASA assets put a couple videos in. This month we spent alot of time working through how to offer students who would have participated in the Student Research Symposia another option to share their work. We got it figured out and then the upload tool for reports had to be shut down! That was exciting! Thanks to the Community Support Team, we were able to accept the reports and get them up. Although not in the place they usually would be. Some other notables: The U.S. Office sent an email to each GLOBE Partnership asking them to update their Partnership page, including the Contacts and Membership lists, and I met with leaders...

Una de las investigaciones ganadoras a nivel institucional fue la realizada por un grupo de estudiantes del 3° de secundaria. Ellas compararon el tiempo atmosférico de Lince, distrito donde se ubica la institución educativa, con Bellavista, Callao, distrito donde vive una de las estudiantes.                    Las conclusiones a las que llegaron luego de su indagación fueron:  a.- La temperatura en Lince es variable; mientras que, en Bellavista baja demasiado por estar cerca al mar. b.- La humedad en Bellavista se mantiene...
