Taller sobre el uso del protocolo del mosquito en Barranquilla y Cali, Colombia / Country mosquito trainer in Barranquilla and Cali, Colombia
El pasado 3 de agosto, se realizó el taller sobre el uso del protocolo del mosquito en Barranquilla y Cali, Colombia dentro del marco del Zika Project. El proyecto está financiado por el Departamento de Estado de los Estados Unidos. A su vez, el taller se organizó por la Oficina de Coordinación Regional para América Latina y el Caribe a partir de una acción de cooperación impulsada por Argentina, Paraguay y Brasil para atacar las zonas más afectadas por las enfermedades transmitidas por los mosquitos.
Los objetivos del taller fueron presentar el programa GLOBE y mostrar sus protocolos, de modo que los profesores y ciudadanos puedan insertar el programa GLOBE dentro de los currículos escolares. También busca incentivar el desarrollo de la investigación científica en las escuelas en colaboración con la comunidad GLOBE.

On August 3, a workshop was held on the use of the mosquito protocol in Barranquilla and Cali, Colombia, within the framework of the Zika Project. The project is funded by the Department of State of the United States. In turn, the workshop was organized by the Office of Regional Coordination for Latin America and the Caribbean for a cooperation action promoted by Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil to attack the areas most affected by mosquito-borne diseases.
The objectives of the workshop were presented with the GLOBE program and show their protocols so that teachers and citizens will see the GLOBE program within school curricula. It also seeks to encourage the development of scientific research in schools in collaboration with the GLOBE community.
