Today is Earth Day 22! Join GIO for a Special Earth Day Broadcast!
The GLOBE Earth Day page is up! Come and see what the GLOBE Implementation Office (GIO) has in store for you on Earth Day, 22 April.
Visit the webpage on Earth Day and you will find the link to GLOBE’s YouTube special Earth Day broadcast, which starts at 09:00 MDT (15:00 UTC). The 30-minute program will feature messages from our sponsors and GIO staff, as well as a prerecorded video that will introduce you to our new GLOBE student vloggers – as well as other news and announcements.
In addition, GIO will be holding the annual drawing. Students who successfully submitted research projects to this year’s International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS) are eligible to win the chance to attend this year’s online Annual Meeting (space is limited). Some of the selected project teams will also receive stipends to use for the purchase of equipment or anything else that will enhance their GLOBE experience. If you can’t attend the Earth Day broadcast, it will be recorded and posted online.
