The GLOBE Program and the NASA GLOBE Clouds Team (NASA Langley Research Center; Hampton, Virginia, USA) invite you to join in the “Match to a Million” celebration on Tuesday, 13 September, from 02:00 p.m. to 04:00 p.m. ET. The event will take place at NASA Langley Research Center; however, portions of the celebration will be live-streamed.

Mosquitoes infect hundreds of millions of people around the world with diseases, such as yellow fever, malaria, dengue, and the Zika virus. These diseases have serious health impacts and kill millions of people each year. According to the World Health Organization, more than 50 percent of the world’s population is at risk of contracting a mosquito-borne illness.
