Frost Tube Protocol (pdf)

This protocol helps you to construct a frost tube to insert into a hole in undisturbed and uncompacted soil. During the cold months, you can measure the depth at which water in the frost tube freezes, indicating that the surrounding soil has also frozen. Watch the Frost Tube Training Video.
