Hello,
my students have just started measuring aerosols (Europe Aerosols Campaign). This week we got data from five days. We work with Calitoo, what an amazing device! Every day we measured twice. During every measuring we recorded three sets of data. My questions are these:
1) Is possible to measure twice a day and enter the data or is suitable enter them only once a day?
2) When we make three measuring during five seven minutes can we report all three or we have to choose one of them?
Thanks for helping me! Marian

Hello Marian,
Thank you for nice feedback to aerosol campaign!
I will try to answer your questions:
1) Yes it is possible to measure twice a day and enter the data for both measurements. It depends for what purpose you need the data - if you want to have 2 observations daily then do so.
2) Is there any specific purpose for which you measure more datasets in 5-7 minutes? In my opinion it is not necessary to enter data from all of them. I supose the readings would be very similar anyway... If they are not similar, then you can elaborate on what was the inffluence to have caused the difference. It is a good exercise for students, however I don´t think it is important to enter these "training" datasets to the database.
Good luck with your observations,
Bara

Hello Bara,
Thank you for answering. Your answer is what we expected and which help us. We have just started so it is better to ask than to make errors. The number of measuring (3) is following from aerosol protocol: 10. Repeat steps 3-9 at least twice and not more than four times. But protocol does not mention if all measuring is needed to enter.
I sincerely hope that we will meet at GG in Trebic.
Marian
