May Tech Update

In the GLOBE Technology area, our focus has been on the recent April Eclipse event. For those along the path of the eclipse, we hope you were able to perform your air temperature (and clouds and land cover) measurements.  If you couldn’t participate, you can still see the results on GLOBE Observer -- about 30,000 air temperature measurements were performed on eclipse day!

The new Learning Activities tool has been released.  This tool allows users to upload learning activities to share with the GLOBE Community as well as provide improved access to all of GLOBE’s existing learning activities. We hope you will add your favorite learning activities to the database

All of the eTraining materials for all protocols have also now been updated. You can check out the new eTraining materials here, take a look! We are also working on a new interface to make it easier to go through your eTraining certification to become a GLOBE Educator.

As always – let us know about how the changes are working for you, and if there’s something we can do to better support you, let us know!
