Guatemalan STEAM Program Students First to Participate in IVSS

Magdalena Waleska Aldana Segura has participated as a IVSS Judge and  is certified as a Globe Teacher, supporting K-12 Students who participate in the International Virtual Sscience Symposium (IVSS). Her students have been the first and only Guatemalan group participating in the IVSS. Their projects  motivated students to present internationally in several congresses, thus improving their sense of self steem and achievement.

Students were able to present live to researchers and professor from Iberoamerican institutions. They showed their project, presented their results and were able to motivate other students and teachers to participate in the activities.
