Oman's Sawda Umm al-Mu’minin School Science Garden Helps Teach GLOBE Protocols

The Science Garden at Sawda Umm al-Mu’minin School in the Al-Dhahirah Governorate (Oman) is the main pillar on which the GLOBE Environmental Team relies. It is environmentally friendly as it contains hydroponics as well as a drip irrigation process using a timer and a solar-powered fountain from which the school’s students benefit. The GLOBE students use the garden to search for and solve problems facing the environment, as well as conduct GLOBE's Soil and Water Protocols.
