Omani GLOBE Students Inaugurate Park with Seedlings and Drip Irrigation

The student GLOBE Team at Asmaa Bint Amis School inaugurated the GLOBE Environmental park in cooperation with the Oman Department of Agriculture in Yanqul and the Department of Climate Affairs in Ibri. Drip irrigation was used in the disinfection process with the Department of Agriculture following up to make further improvements.

The Department of Climate Affairs also provided seedlings compatible with the Omani environment for the wonderful park. The GLOBE Team participated planting these seedlings. This park will help students participate in land cover protocols and do future research related to the environment.
