Students in Oman Celebrate Earth Day by Completing GLOBE Protocols via GLOBE Observer

Every year, the world celebrates Earth Day, which falls on 22 April. On that day, various events and programs are held with the aim of educating society and individuals about the importance of planet Earth and the need to preserve it.

The local communities of Oman are involved in GLOBE, highlighting the importance of preserving planet Earth. As part of the Earth Day celebration, parents and students participated in entering data for the Program’s protocols through The GLOBE Program's app, GLOBE Observer. This event was organized by Hedaya Al-Farisi from Asmaa Bint Amis School, Fakhriya Al-Balushi from Sawda Umm Al-Mu’minin School, Sheikha Al-Sawafiya from Ibri School, and Mai Al-Sawafiya from Amjad Amman School.
