Jonathan: In June there was a workshop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and they kindly invited teachers from Paraguay and Uruguay. The problem was that they could not register teachers from other countries in their own workshop. Now in July when the website changed, information is not available or dissapeared. We need help to solve this problem, can we erase it and create again? Or we must follow another procedure? Could you please send us information on how to enter information from the three countries to the workshop in order to receive finally the passwords for the new teachers?
Thanks for your help! I will copy your answer to Graciela Martinez, the secretary of the workshop in Argentina.

I can tell that I am going to have the same issue with teachers outside of Iowa whom I have trained in GLOBE. They don't show up in my network because they don't belong to the "Iowa" community. Technically, these teachers are exceptions to my partnerships defined service area... I still want my partnership connected tot hem as their trainer AND I want them connected to their local partnership too.

Our partner Raytheon is still working on some system changes in the workshop section. These include updating the user database records, and training records which may help with some specific problem areas.

Some workshops that occurred at or around the new website switch over on Jun 29 2012 may have to be recreated in the new system. Dates that may be affected are May 2012, June 2012, and July 2012.

Please contact the help desk at help@globe.gov if you have workshops that occurred in that time frame so that we can address these special cases and get partners and teachers all set up and working with the new system correctly.

Thank you for your patience on this particular and unique workshop issue.

I have the same problem too. I had a GLOBE training in July. I want to get the teachers up and running but am running into problems. I found 3 of the 8 teachers in the website and added them to my workshop. But, the others I can't find.

A revision of the Liferay system is being undertaken which should address these issues. An update on this should be available from us the week of August 13 -17
