GLOBE Teachers (Texas, USA, Only): NASA’s Johnson Space Center Hiring Summer Counselors
NASA’s High School Aerospace Scholars program is recruiting counselors for the summer 2017 session. Applications close on 14 March.
In addition to other duties, counselors will be responsible for guiding a team of 8-12 rising high school seniors through a week-long NASA STEM experience at Johnson Space Center (JSC), including evening activities off site. Counselors will report to a Lead Counselor, work with NASA’s HAS Education Specialists.
The position, Counselor for Texas High School Aerospace Scholars (HAS) NASA STEM Experience, is offering $600.00 per week. Candidates must be able to commit to onsite training (05-09 June 2017), and at least one program period (11-30 June 2017; 11-21 July; or 23 July – 04 August). Candidate must be able to reside in the same lodging with students and counselors during the program. A Bachelor’s Degree is required (Masters preferred).
